my name is tom
here are my glassjaw credentials
I currently work every day
2 feet from justin beck.
i have worked with the dude
here at merchdirect for going on 8 years.
daryl palumbo played bass briefly
in my old band silent majority
i have known daryl and beck since they were 13 or 14
i am the glassjaw "ski mask" guy seen on alot of merch.
i am "grasper"
with that out of the way.
i for the most part heard a complete glassjaw
cd LAST winter
it had a latin/spanish music feel to some songs
it had some nice grooves
kinda like a massive attack thing going on in some parts
all it needed was vocals
there were SOME vocals recorded but they sounded to me
like "idea" tracks with alot of scatting/ gibberish
basically laid down to get the flow/vocal melodies of the songs.
i pretty much
liked every track i heard
and they were, like i said HEAVILY groove/feel oriented
perfect to vibe off.
so there you have it.
i wanted to come on here and spread some real talk
a lot of you guys have a magic bullet mentality and love to theorize .
but these are the facts.
