haha, brilliant.

A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection

Re: Glassjaw.net: The Justin Beck Interview (June 2008)

So fucking gay. I’m too fucking old to  be listen to this shit. Its like wearing a pair of dunks, you know its trendy you see the wack ass 15 year old kid wearing it and you think to yourself yeah that fag doesn’t have a clue about the culture and comfort behind it but you continue wearing it even though everyone else is looks at you like you look at that 15 year old.

Long Island fucking sucks and I thank it for fucking sucking, although I can’t say that for those jacked guidos (no homo ) If it didn’t suck as much as it does it wouldn’t have produced such cynical fucks.

Being from New York there’s an emotional attachment to the music the attitude the swagger that came along with it was obsessive. These guys were the fucking Biggie Smalls of HardCore. Everyone wanted to wear what they were wearing, eat what they were eating, fuck who they were fucking. Shit I went Straight Edge after having a conversation with Justin Beck at a Thursday show at Irving Plaza 7 years a go.

Your music evokes passion and it is one of the best highs ever, as much as I fucking hate saying it I’m a fucking bitch for anything from GJ and if you guys don’t end up coming out with a new album I’ll be one of those disgruntled fucks  that starts a CoverBand  and throws out one of those obviously inspired Glassjaw songs when I get tired of playing covers.

Identity..seeing you get your shit together at such an early age successful and married makes me want to do the same for myself.

Thanks for the good times and the closure your music has brought.

chingatumadre

you sound plenty disgruntled already....

Good interview to wake up to while I'm miserable at work. Definitely some good news there which will keep a few of us holdin on a bit longer.

And relax Chingatumadre... we get it.

i think it's easy to see what he means...it's not a sensitive approach, but it is logical.

hitler may have been a genius.  he was also an evil bastard (and everyone recognizes that).

I dunno how anyone who was doing something they thought was right can be called evil. In his mind, the jews were evil.

Re: Glassjaw.net: The Justin Beck Interview (June 2008)

Im pretty sure that Hitler being a very smart man, he knew what he was doing would be thought wrong by most, I think its worse he did it anyway.

But yeah I see Becks point, the man did wonders for Germany in the 1930s...shame he had the whole hating of the jews/blacks/asians/disabled etc!

Im actually Ry Ry's girl

Re: Glassjaw.net: The Justin Beck Interview (June 2008)

I think wrong is all in perception.

People don't really stop to think that everyone sees things in a different perspective.

Personally im glad the fuckers dead and im not okay with intolerance of any sort, that being said im sure there are a million people who find what I say repulsive and so wrong.

Re: Glassjaw.net: The Justin Beck Interview (June 2008)

From what I learned in all my history classes, Germany was the scapegoat of WWI...which ultimately led to Germany's participation in WWII. I understand that Hitler needed a cause of some sort to unify Germany, but in his case the ends don't justify the means. It's trendy to go out there and say that the holocaust didn't happen or that it was justified to some extent. People want to go against the grain so badly that they will say the most absurd things. But I'm pretty sure that Beck is just pointing out that Hitler is misunderstood, I don't think that he is in any way defending his actions.
