finally got around to checking out David Lynch's Twin Peaks, so far it is magical

The OC and Twin Peaks love in the same post - weirdness worthy of Lynch himself.

Re: The amazing thread of randomness

First day without smoking in years. I feel like high strung, over-agitated shit on a stick. I have gone through a whole bag of Werthers originals and am beginning to think that the money I spend on hard candy will about equal the amount I would spend on cigarettes. The good news is I restrained from killing my roommates dog when he bit me (my insurance appointed phone therapist instructed me to look at the positives).

It was a good game. Best Super Bowl in recent years for sure. The refs actually let them play instead of ruining the game. I appreciate that. Plus both Qbs are outstanding.

Have you even seen the last two super bowls? Steelers/Cardinals and Giants/Patriots were far better. Those games actually were in doubt in the final minute of the game and were won by a touchdown or less.

Saints/Colts was a good game for sure but will not ever be in the top 5 greatest super bowls.

It's infinitely more exciting seeing a first time-first win game than it is watching all four of those boring teams play. Plus NO needed it, and deserved it.

Re: The amazing thread of randomness

Boring teams? C'mon. Both games were high drama until the final second.

Giants/Patriots was one of the great upsets in football history. The greatest upset since Namath. and it was a close game featuring one of the greatest plays in NFL history, Manning escaping the sack and passing to (AH! I forget his name) catching the ball on his helmet.

Steelers/Cardinals was an insane game. It came down to a winning touchdown pass. A winning.touchdown.pass and the winner was in question up until the final seconds. I hate the Steelers, so I take no happiness in their winning. But I'm not going to pretend it was a boring game just because I was disappointed in the outcome. Roethlisberger's final drive is one of the game's all time drives.

And you can't say the Patriots are boring. Every super bowl they have played in in the Brady era has been close and exciting.

Noooo way. Fuck the Patriots, and fuck Tom Brady especially. And fuck the Brady "era" even more. The Brady "era" started the day my team was ruined. But that's not it. The Patriots are just a boring team to watch. And their fans are even more boring. They brought "wicked" and "that's legit" to Connecticut, and I'll never fucking forgive them for that. Also, let's be honest, Massachusetts' drivers are the worst drivers in America, and fuck their cops. I saw one standing outside of his car on the side of the Mass Pike pointing his radar like a gun at traffic. He tagged someone and ran to his car and then swerved in and out of traffic at the speed of sound to pull him over. Fuck everything about the Patriots, especially things that don't have to do with football.

Oh, and I wasn't going to mention Spygate, but that too. Brady can't call plays for shit. It's sickening really.
